Ok, the day is definite this time. hoop classes will be at the studio on jordan lane every friday from 6:30-7:30. classes are pre-register only due to space and is a 6 week course of classes for $50. Classes start this friday, January 18th. pre-register can be done through paypal (message me for paypal address), or can be paid on first day of course. please make sure you can make all classes as refunds are not possible.
I have 9 spots left for the classes. even if you're going to wait to pay at the first class i'll need your name to reserve your spot. I'm kicking off the very first 6 weeks of my classes by spicing things up with a little contest. those attending will find out friday...hehe ;)

Re: Hoop classes
Mon, February 4, 2008 - 9:51 AM"Hoopnotic Hoopdance beginning level 1" is a good very beginner video. It has good breakdowns and troubleshooting tips. If you're body aware and self motivated - Christabel's "Hoopdance for Beginners" is great (it's what I started with). It has a lot more material than Hoopnotic 1, but a lot less basic instruction. If you want to start slow and basic, go with Hoopnotic. If you like to play with lot of things at once and want a good reference go with "Hoopdance for Beginners". As a side note, I did note like Christabel's "Hearth Hulaerobics." A brand new hoop dancer may find it very useful, but I just found it very annoying. I can't look past the annoyance factor to get to the actual content. -
